In this Introduction to Carpentry course you will learn to properly identify commonly used building materials, fasteners, and hand and power tools. You will gain knowledge through hands-on experience framing a floor, walls, a ceiling, and a roof. You will gain experience installing siding, windows, a door, and exterior roofing materials as well as construction math and estimating materials. OSHA-10 Certification may also be earned. No class on April 3rd and 5th.
