Data Collection and Progress Monitoring Made Easy:
This session will provide, a structured and systematic approach to developing, implementing, and monitoring goals on IEPs, BIPs, behavioral or academic support plans. Participants will be exposed to various data collection and progress monitoring measures that may be used with a variety of students with or without disabilities.
Preventing Problem Behavior in the Classroom:
Antecedent based interventions (ABI) are evidence-based and proactive strategies designed to reduce the occurrence of interfering or problematic behavior. ABI focuses on modifying the environment and changing elements that could trigger an interfering behavior. Implementing ABI strategies is the best way to prevent behavioral issues from occurring. This session will discuss ABI strategies within the multi-tiered system of support ((MTSS) framework.
