This session will include information about the impact of cultural awareness in the classroom setting and student success. This session will also discuss the different types of diverse population, the impact of cultural expectations and understanding one’s own biases. Participants will leave the session with information on how to continue to support their multicultural classroom and /or school setting through collaborating with students, parents, guardians, and the community. Information about exercises to help celebrate diversity at our school. This is an interactive session.
