What does it mean to be “gifted” in Virginia? Who is identified gifted in Virginia? How are gifted students served in schools? What curriculum works best for gifted students? What programs and activities are available to gifted students? These are some of the questions that twill be addressed in this session. This presentation will focus on gifted regulations, policies, local gifted plans and programs in VA. Participants will spend time examining local gifted plans.
