Effective curriculum design and alignment are critical factors in maximizing student achievement. This session will focus on the tools that educators need to achieve alignment in curriculum, instruction and assessments. The purpose of this session is to strengthen the educator’s knowledge and skills in designing curriculum that is aligned with the current state standards in content and cognitive levels. Participants will evaluate and construct lessons and units in their current curriculum. Participants will leave with aligned lessons, assessments and curriculum to utilize in the upcoming year.
