This presentation highlights how a small Virginia school division successfully implemented Student Reading Plans to improve literacy outcomes for all students. It will outline the division’s strategic approach, including the use of data to identify student needs, targeted interventions, and consistent progress monitoring. Attendees will learn how collaboration among teachers, specialists, and leadership helped ensure fidelity and impact, even with limited resources. The session will also share key lessons learned, challenges faced, and practical strategies that can be replicated in other divisions to strengthen reading achievement and close skill gaps.
