This session will be conducted online via Zoom.

Award winning, Rappahannock High School educator, Cleveland Winfield will present the class open mic. Mr. Winfield will provide guidance on developing a class open mic, discuss some benefits of the open mic, and model some poetic genres that can be used to inspire students to dream boldly, express themselves, and foster change.  All session participants will be encouraged to participate in a live open mic as a part of this workshop experience.

Targeted Audience:
Middle School and High School Language Arts Teachers and Fine & Performing Arts Teachers

*Potential VA Teacher Licensure Renewal points = 2
