A comprehensive review of Federal & State regulatory requirements on maintenance of educational records, family/student confidentiality, and special education regulations. Review of best practices on special education processes from Child Find to referral to evaluation to eligibility to development of an appropriate Individualized Education Plan (IEP) will be included. Participants will be provided a FERPA/IDEA Crosswalk Checklist as a tool to informally assess the status of their respective school(s).
