This course provides you, as a technician, with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a data cabling installer. The course will teach skills in installing, connecting, and testing of telecommunications lines. Measuring signal strength using electronic test equipment, inspecting lines or cables, recording and analyzing test results, assessing transmission characteristics,and locating faults or malfunctions will also be emphasized. This hands-on course teaches you to splice cables, use hand tools, etc.
